On October 18th following the 10:30 am Mass, Our Lady’s Sodality will sponsor a presentation of Women of Faith in St. John’s Parish Center hall. The program will consist of a one-woman dramatic reading created and performed by parishioner, cantor, and actress, Julie Butters who will bring to life several beloved female saints including St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Frances Cabrini, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and more. The performance will run for approximately 35 minutes, followed by a brief question and answer period and light refreshments.

There is no charge to attend this program. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is advised so we can plan for food and seating. Registration is limited to 80 participants. Deadline for registration is Friday, October 9th.

Hello Neighbor is a monthly social hour in St. John’s Parish Hall on the First Sunday of the month after the 10:30 mass.

1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Acts 2:1-4
